Het bisdom Roermond is opgedeeld in 13 dekenaten. Elke dekenaat bestaat uit een aantal parochies die samenwerken in clusters of federaties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Een decanaat<\/strong>, dekenaat<\/strong> of, enkel in Vlaanderen<\/a>, dekenij<\/strong> is een bestuurlijke en territoriale eenheid<\/a> binnen zowel de Rooms-Katholieke Kerk<\/a> als de oosters-orthodoxe kerken<\/a> en de Anglicaanse Gemeenschap<\/a>. Het is de bestuurslaag tussen het bisdom<\/a> en de parochies<\/a>. Een dekenaat bestaat uit een aantal parochies, en binnen een bisdom zijn er een aantal dekenaten. De geestelijke die aan het hoofd hiervan staat, is in de hi\u00ebrarchie van de Rooms-Katholieke Kerk<\/a> een (land)deken<\/a> of deken der christenheid<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
